Kalarivathukkal Bhagavathi Temple
Kalarivathukkal Bhagavathi Temple is a renowned Bhadrakali temple situated on the banks of the Valapattanam River in Kannur district. It is one of the most historically and ritually significant *Shakteya* shrines in North Malabar. The Goddess here is revered as the patron deity and mother figure of Kalaripayattu, Kerala's traditional martial art. The temple is currently managed by the Malabar Devaswom Board.
